A cuvée of clones 4 & 17, this Chardonnays hails from our organically-farmed vineyard – Hidden Springs. Clone 4 is renowned for the structure and elegance that it offers a wine when grown in an idyllic cool climate such as is offered in the Santa Cruz Mountains. The Clone 17, also known as the Robert Young clone, brings crisp mountain pear notes and hints of hazelnut to the wine. The land that is grazed by the babydoll sheep brings the steely minerality that sets this wine apart from the flock.
